Winner Takes It All

You could not ask for a better ending to the group stages of the second season of the IPL with the final four matches having huge importance. Bangalore’s win over top of the table Delhi makes it even more interesting with 5 teams battling out for 3 semi final slots.

Kolkata Knight Riders v Rajasthan Royals – Kolkata will be buoyant after beating Chennai and Rajasthan will have to watchful as they need to win to have a chance of reaching the semi finals. All Rajasthan can do is win and hope results go there way.

Chennai Super Kings v Kings XI Punjab – The pressure is on King XI to win comfortable as there net run rate is poor where Chennai can afford to lose and still have a very good chance of reaching the semi finals.

Delhi Daredevils v Mumbai Indians – The only match which has no significance but both teams will want to win. For Delhi this is a huge match and will want the pair of Gambhir and Sehwag to score big runs which they have not so far and take it into the semi finals

Royal Challengers Bangalore v Deccan Chargers – Winner take it all, who ever wins will reach the semi finals the perfect way to finish off the group stages. Both teams will realize this is an opportunity not to miss and a win could take them all the way and win the second season of the IPL.

I have made many predictions of who will qualify and it can go either way but I will be sticking to my prediction of Delhi, Chennai, Rajasthan and Deccan to reach the semi finals.
